Stress Relief

As parents we often experience a stress that can drive us mad with frustration, exhaustion and emotion.

That stress is caused by our beloved children.  Those little bundles of joy that we created and brought into this world.  The ones we worry about constantly, care for and love unconditionally.

Parenting is NOT for the faint of heart.

It took me about three years to figure it out; but, as a parent, I need to have an outlet to rid myself of the daily stresses.  I have found that sitting down at night, after the kids are in bed, and paper crafting (scrapbooking or stamping) is a great release.  It allows my creativity to flow and my brain cells to fire, melting the stress away.  I also LOVE to read.  Although, these days I read "fluff".  I don't think I would absorb anything too heavy.  Most of my reading is done in bed.  I try to read a complete chapter since I really hate putting a book down in the middle of one; but, I read until I can't keep my eyes open any longer and then head off to dreamland.

I know, I live a glamourous life!

All kidding aside, I firmly believe that if you don't find a way to relieve your stress it will eat you up inside, no matter what the cause.

So how do you relieve your stress?
