There was no apology or assurance that it was a one-time occurrence, or that they would look into this particular product. The email simply contained the following:
Thank you for taking the time to write to us. Could you please send us your information (name, address and telephone number) We can send you out replacement straws. Thank you and have a nice day.

Needless to say, I'm quite shocked that a company like Nûby wouldn't even acknowledge that there was a problem with the cup. I doubt I will use the replacement straws they have offered to send. And quite frankly, I'll think twice about purchasing Nûby products in the future.
