Pop, No Pop

If you were to look in our fridge on any given day, you would find countless cans of Coke.  However, on my quest to a better me, I've decided to give up this guilty pleasure. 
In reality, I don't drink a whole lot of pop to begin with; maybe one can a day.  But the amount of sugar in one can is enough to affect my overall health. 

I'm on day two of no pop and I can't say I miss it.  If I want a fizzy drink, I've reached for a Perrier water instead.  I can't say I "feel" any better having cut out the pop; but, I know in the long run I'll be all the better for it.  And, that's not to say I won't or can't indulge every once in a while.  I may treat myself to a glass on the weekend or if I'm at a party; or when that pesky migraine won't go away without a dose of Advil and Coke.  I won't be drinking pop every day.

Now, if only I can get Mr. Twingle on board with this plan, we may be able to cut down our grocery bill if we're not buying so many cans of Coke :)
