What a crazy week. Pickle was sick Thursday & Friday. Turns out she has Fifths disease (slapped cheek). Poor kid has the reddest cheeks I've ever seen.
We had to attend a funeral on Monday for a family member and I had a wicked migraine on Thursday. Needless to say, the week was rough and staying on plan wasn't easy.
I went into my meeting yesterday resigned to the fact that I was about to have my first gain. How could I not after the week I'd had? I was wrong. I'm down 0.6 lbs this week. Yep, not even a full pound; but, you know what? I'll take it! A loss is a loss and considering I thought I was going to gain, I'm happy to see the numbers going down.
I'm back on plan this week. I had a delicious breakfast with my girls this morning consisting of low-fat scrambled eggs, low-fat toast and hot water with lemon. I had an apple on side and I'm read to rock. I managed to get some grocery shopping done and I was amazed at how fast it goes when you only shop the perimeter of the store. All the good for you foods can be found around the edge of the store. No need to go up and down aisles loading up on packaged, processed foods. I thank Weight Watchers for giving me that little tidbit of information. I was in and out of the grocery store in 20 minutes!
Lunch was low-fat yogurt, a cup of blueberries and a tuna & cucumber sandwich on low-fat bread; yum! I'm feeling better being back on plan and I'm hoping for another successful week.
