Despite an early weigh in, I'm down 2.1 lbs; and that was wearing JEANS! I normally weigh-in in yoga style capris/pants as jeans can add 1.5-3 pounds to the scale. I was very happy with my 2.1 lbs. loss and I'm motivated to keep pushing. I'm only 1.2 lbs away from that 75 lbs milestone. Here's hoping I hit it this week!
My activity has been steady. I'm still working my way through the C25K program; now working at 20 minute run intervals. I should be at about 3K; but realistically, it's only about 1.5K since I don't "run" very fast. I tried increasing my speed last week from 3.5 mph to 4.0 mph and I couldn't believe how much of a difference a half a mile per hour made. I was sweating and breathing pretty hard. I dropped back to 3.5 for my run last night as I don't think I could do 20 minutes at 4.0...at least not yet. I will get there; but it may not be for a while. The heart and lungs are muscles and like any other muscle, you need to build it up. I have every intention of doing that.
