Finally, the Scale is in my Favor

That's right...after several weeks of yo-yo like behaviour, the scale this week is on the right track...DOWN!  I lost 1.4 this week.  That brings me back to about 90 lbs lost; but, I'll get back to where I was and hit my goal if I continue on this path.

I think a lot of my success this week had to do with drinking enough water and I joined Curves.  After losing 90 pounds so far, I have a lot of loose skin and while running has done wonders for my weight loss; it hasn't really helped me tone.  That's what I'm hoping Curves will help me do, along with my continuing weight loss.

I've done 3 workouts so far and I've gotta say, they're not as easy as they look.  The more you go, the tougher it gets.  BUT, I can't wait to go again.  I feel so good after a workout.  No matter how much I may not want to start, I never regret it once I do.

Another Gain?!

How is that even possible?  I'm up 1.7 after today's weigh in.  Here I was thinking I'd had a great week.  I tracked, every day!  I got at least 6 glasses of water in, every day!  I earned 15 activity points, that I didn't touch.  So what gives?
The only thing I can think of is salt.  We had ham for dinner one night and pizza another.  So the sodium content in those two choices alone could be responsible; and, I'm certainly hoping they are.

Despite the gain, I'm not losing faith.  I've rocked the program so far and I'm not giving up now.  After weigh-in, I went for my first hot yoga/Pilates class.  It was great.  I was challenged and I sweat like crazy and I'm sore as hell...but it was AWESOME!  I can't wait to do it again in a couple weeks (I work every-other Saturday).  If anyone local wants to join me, let me know!

Back At It

Today was my first weigh-in in over a month.  I wasn't avoiding the scale, life got in the way. But today I was back at Weight Watchers, bright and early, to see just had bad the holidays were.
I had a pretty good idea as my scale at home is only about 1lb off what I get at WW.  That said, I was very happy to lean that I'm up 3.6 lbs today.  That brings my total loss to 90.4 lbs; but, I'm ok with that.  My scale had me up 10lbs over the past couple weeks, so in that respect I'm actually down from where I was a couple weeks ago.

So that's me in a nutshell.  I'm back on track and on the road to a #betterme.

Getting Back on Track

I've been quiet lately.  

Sorry.  

I'm getting back on track starting today.  Back to tracking...EVERYTHING.  I need to readily the mantra "If I bite it, I write it".  I haven't been diligent in tracking and as a result, I've gained 5 lbs.  I know that doesn't seem like a lot in the grand scheme of things, but gaining is not a path I want to take.  

I'm counting on you, to help keep me accountable.  Putting my success (or failure) out there helps me stay on track.  When I get those words of encouragement, it makes me want to push that much harder.  So, I'm asking you to help me.  Please feel free to send me comments, here or on Facebook.  Let me know how you're doing.  I think together, we can succeed.
